 Jason Irwin has been a major contributor of the Upstate NY music and entertainment scene for over three decades. He is a professional musician who writes and records as well as performs live all over the Northeast. Jason is also well-known as the lead singer and guitarist of the band Phillips Head. He started his own mobile DJ business in 1990 and has been entertaining Upstate NY ever since,  earning the title of "Best Local DJ" several years running. Jason has over 20 years of experience in radio as a popular alternative rock radio DJ on 102.7FM WEQX, recently the on-air host of the Hits 95.9FM “Local 95” weekly radio show, and has been the daily morning show host of "Rise & Rock on The Legend 93.1FM WSC for the past 5 years. Jason is also the author of the music column, “Rock around the Block,” which appeared bi-weekly in The Glens Falls Chronicle for over 10 years, and is currently a reporter for Xperience Monthly. Jason started 518 Rock a few years ago, which focuses on promoting local music events and booking music at several venues and events. Most recently, he has been busy adding credentials to his acting and voice-over resume and spearheading his newly formed audio, video, and multimedia business, Bully Goat Productions. Jason has recently achieved two "Listen Up Awards" -for "Favorite Solo/Duo Original" and "Favorite Solo/Duo Cover."
